How to Delete Write Protected Files

Sometimes when you try to delete a file the system told you that the file is write protected. But sometimes the file is a virus, it’s very necessary to delete it quickly. In that case, we can use Unlocker so solve the problem.

1. Right-click on the write protected files and click “Unlocker”

2. Now you can see who locks the file, look at the left side of the bottom, click the menu and “Delete”, then click “Unlock All”.

3. Normally, the file will be deleted several minutes later.
4. But sometimes the file can’t be delete, there will be an error window, you should click “Yes” to delete the file at next reboot.

5. If you don’t want to wait until next reboot, you can back to step 2 and click “Kill Process” then delete the file.
