Sometimes you want to copy a DVD into your HD or you want to clone it into some other DVDs. So you here first need to rip a DVD into your HD. But some DVDs are DVD-5 and others are DVD-9. If your DVD source is a DVD-5, you can make an exact copy of the DVD. But if your DVD source is a DVD-9, you have to reconvert it to fit on one recordable DVD-5 which means that you will lose some video quality. Here you should first download a tool named DVD Decrypter, then follow the steps below.

Copy DVD

1. First you should do to www.dvddecrypter.org.uk to download the tool, and then install it to your computer step by step.
2. Run the DVD Decrypter and put a DVD into your DVD-Rom.
3. Select Mode>ISO>Read, and then choose the sourcechoose the source where you want to copy fileswhere you want to copy the files, check the Number of Layers on the right side.check the number of layers
Here if the number is 1, this means that the DVD you want to copy is a DVD-5, but if the number is 2, the DVD you want to copy is a DVD-9, you need to use an InstantCopy to go futher work.
4. Click on the DVD>HD-imageclick on the dvd>hd-image to rip the dvd to your hd to rip the DVD to your HD, Wait about 20 minutes to finish the rip of DVD to your HD.
5. Take the DVD out of your computer and then insert an empty DVD-R/W or DVD+R/W in your DVD Writer.
6. Then select Mode -> ISO -> Write, change the Source and Destination.select the destination where you want to burn the DVD
7. Finally click the HD>DVD-image.click the HD>DVD-image to burn the DVD and then wait till all things finished automatically.
